The Square D D223NRB is afusible safety switch rated for 100A and 240VAC operation, featuring two poles and a factory-installed neutral for 3-wire residential/commercial applications. Its NEMA 3R galvannealed steel enclosure provides rainproof and sleet/ice-resistant protection suitable for indoor/outdoor installation. Designed for general-duty disconnection of lighting, air conditioning, and appliances, it accepts Class H, K, or R cartridge fuses for over-current and short-circuit protection, with a maximum 100kA short-circuit rating when properly fused. The switch includes mechanical screw terminal lugs compatible with #14 to #1/0 AWG copper or #12 to #1/0 AWG aluminum conductors, supporting surface mounting with a single-throw lever actuator.
